Disabled Divers International scuba-diving certification programs have been certified by European Underwater Federation (EUF) and Austrian Standards plus Certification (AS+C) as being in full conformity with ISO guide 65 and EN 45011 requirements.

The below list show the DDI certifications and their relevant ISO and EN certification level.

Scuba Diver

Supervised Diver ISO 24801-1 EN 14153-1

Open Water Diver – Level 1

Autonomous Diver ISO 24801-2 EN 14153-2

Not all diving certifications can receive ISO/EN certification.

Requirements for ISO and EN standards certification are very strict and limited to very basic levels of scuba-diving certificates, such as supervised diver, autonomous diver, dive leader and diving instructors. As there does not exist any ISO/EN standards for certifications in between these levels or for certifications that add on to existing diver certifications, it is not possible to ISO/EN certify all scuba-diving programs.

All DDI training and certification programs are made to the highest industry safety and quality standards. DDI also continue to work with EUF to develop ISO/EN standards that include disabled diver specific needs.
