Eco Dive in Sweden offers DDI programs
Eco Dive AB in Stockholm Sweden, completed a DDI instructor course and have now implemented disabled diving activities and courses to their customers in Stockholm, Sweden.
Per Anzelius said "We thank Flemming Thyge (DDI co-founder) for a few (too few) wonderful days, while learning how to implement the full Disabled Divers International programs together with our current PADI courses.". Eco Dive AB diving centre differs from other local diving centres, by focusing on being enviromentally friendly, supporting fair trade and prioritizing safety and service above being the cheapest dive centre on the market. Jörgen Janshult said "Adding the DDI line of programs to our current offerings, fits well within our objectives and is personally very gratifying to work with".

DDI course in Italy
After a positive and fun course in Milan, Italy. DDI is happy to welcome our newest members to the family.
The Italian organization Acque Libere Onlus has fully adopted the full disabled diving programs from DDI as part of their in water activities to their members, who allready enjoy multiple in water activities as both pleasure and rehabilitation. DDI course in Bali
Disabled Divers International paid Crystal Divers Bali a visit on the 30th April 2010, to educate senior IDC Staff Instructor Else Poulsen about teaching disabled divers. Else had some extra help though from all the Instructor candidates currently at Crystal Divers who were very willing to be put through their paces and learn the skills necessary to properly assist disabled diving students.
"Crystal Divers would like to thank Flemming Thyge and Disabled Divers International for a very enjoyable yet educational day and would recommend the course to anyone who is interested in working with disabled divers", said Else Poulsen. DDI is proud to announce that our very own Else Poulsen is now a fully qualified DDI instructor, and that DDI courses is now available in Bali.
New hope for divers with disabilities
"A new approach to teaching people with disabilities to scuba dive is promised with the formation of a new
non-profit organisation, Disabled Divers International."
"Founders of the DDI are two men with a combined 30 years of working with disabled divers—Fraser Bathgate, its first president, and Vice-President Flemming Thyge, both previously leading lights of the International Association of Handicapped Divers (IAHD). All the DDI’s board members are volunteers."
