Despite our different backgrounds (Riet is a nurse and mother, while Tom is an engineer), the DDI course showed both of us new ways to approach diving for both ourselves and others, and gave us new appreciation and the skills needed to teach and assist the differently-abled to enjoy the underwater world as well!  The course itself was great fun, as is the knowledge that we can now introduce even more people to the wonderful world of SCUBA diving!
